Jay Jackson will start again for the Pirates. I don't know whether to read anything into this or not, given that Jackson has pitched scorelessly so far. It could be the team just needs somebody to take Jeff Locke's slot, or they could be stretching Jackson out as a starter with the idea that he'll be in the Indianapolis rotation as starting depth. Jackson was highly regarded as a Cubs' prospect back in the day, but he hit a wall in AAA in 2010 and has been struggling ever since.
