-- Chris Dickerson hit a walk off single in the 9th to drive in a pinch runner and give Indianapolis a 4-3 win over Toledo. Carlos Paulino, who went 2-4, set up the run with a single. Polanco went 3-3 with a double and a walk. He's now hitting .433. Lambo went 2-3 with a walk, and is now hitting .350. Brandon Cumpton allowed three runs on six hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out five. Daniel Schlereth got the win, going an inning and a third. He fanned three but also walked two.
-- Altoona beat Richmond, 6-1. After struggling in high A last year, Adrian Sampson is off to a very different start in AA. He gave up one run on three hits and two walks in five innings. Sampson fanned four and went 1-2 at the plate with a run scored. Emmanuel De Leon threw two shutout innings in relief, striking out two. Hanson (pictured) and Allie each went 3-5, with Allie getting a double. Willy Garcia went 1-5 with three strikeouts.
-- Bradenton got shut out by Palm Beach, 6-0. Chad Kuhl failed to get out of the 2nd inning, as Palm Beach got all their runs in that frame. Pat Ludwig fanned six and allowed one run in four relief innings. The Marauders managed only three singles. Josh Bell went 1-3 with a walk and Jin-De Jhang 0-4.
-- West Virginia also got shut out, 2-0 against Lexington. Starter Buddy Borden threw five shutout innings, giving up six hits and a walk, and fanning four. The Power had only five hits, two by Danny Collins. JaCoby Jones went 1-4 and Reese McGuire 0-4.
