Pirates (brief) MiLB recap: 4/15/14

-- Pat Ludwig, Josh Smith and Jhondaniel Medina (pictured) combined to shut out Palm Beach as Bradenton won, 6-0.  Ludwig pitched the first five innings, giving up three hits and a walk, and fanning four.  Medina struck out two in a scoreless 9th.  Through his first four outings, totaling four innings, Medina has yet to allow a hit or a walk, and has fanned eight.  Walker Gourley, Jose Osuna, Jin-De Jhang and Jonathan Schwind each had two hits for the Marauders.  Josh Bell went 0-4 with a walk, his fourth straight hitless game.  Adam Frazier went 1-5 and committed three errors.
