McPherson suffered a fracture in his elbow during rehab that will cause him to miss the rest of 2014

Well, this is unfortunate.
In case you're wondering, McPherson is with the Pirates this year on a minor league deal, as he was removed from the 40-man roster. They'll have to sign him to another minor league deal if they want to bring him back next year.
