Altoona and Bradenton both wasted good starting pitching in the only two games scheduled.

-- Altoona lost to Akron, 6-2.  Nick Kingham gave up three runs, just one earned, over seven innings.  He allowed seven hits and two walks, and fanned two.  Keon Broxton went 2-4 with a double and Alen Hanson 1-4.  Stetson Allie didn't play.

-- Jason Creasy (pictured) allowed just one run in five innings, but Robby Rowland gave up three in relief as Bradenton dropped a 4-2 decision to Daytona.  Creasy allowed five hits, walked none and fanned five.  The Marauders had just five hits.  Josh Bell didn't play.
