Pirates sign four more draftees

The Pirates have announced nine draft signings.  Five we already knew about:  Mitch Keller, Trey Supak, Frank Duncan, Michael Clemens and Eric Karch.  The four new ones:

7.  Nelson Jorge -- Prep SS from Puerto Rico who does not seem to have been one of the better regarded prospects from there.

14.  Chase Simpson -- Senior 3B from Wichita State.  Simpson moved around a lot and redshirted all of 2013, so there isn't much of a track record despite his being a college senior.  He's supposed to have some raw power, although it hasn't shown up yet in games.

21.  Eric Thomas, Jr. -- Prep CF who appears to be a speed-only player at this point.

36.  Palmer Betts -- JuCo RHP from Chipola College, he throws 93 and both struck out and walked a lot of hitters this year.
