The Pirates have placed Gerrit Cole on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to June 4). Jeff Locke will take Cole's spot on the 25-man roster.
Cole will be eligible to come off the DL on the 19th, meaning he will miss at least two scheduled starts. His first scheduled start after the 15 days would be on the 20th, in Chicago.
