-- Cumpton gave up a dozen hits and eight runs in four and two-thirds innings as Indianapolis lost to Charlotte, 9-3. John Holdzkom fanned four in two and a third innings of relief, giving up one run on a solo HR. Jaff Decker, Andrew Lambo, Chris McGuiness and Dean Anna all went 2-4. Lambo and Decker had doubles. Jose Tabata was 1-5 with a double.
-- Altoona won a wild one, 10-9, over New Britain. The Curve scored five in the top of the 1st, but fell behind, 9-5, at the end of the 3rd. Trailing 9-8 in the 9th, the Curve scored twice on a sac fly by Jarek Cunningham and a two-out single by Alen Hanson. Willy Garcia went 4-5 with a double and Gift Ngoepe 3-4 with a double and a walk. Hanson was 2-6, Dan Gamache 2-6 with his third HR, Elias Diaz 2-5, Andy Vasquez 2-4 with two doubles, and Josh Bell 1-4 with a walk. Starter Joan Montero gave up all nine runs, eight earned, in three innings. Nate Baker, Jeff Inman and Ryan Beckman combined for six scoreless innings in relief. Altoona got eight of its runs and 13 hits off Virgil Vasquez.
-- Glasnow (pictured) had one of his dominating starts as Bradenton edged Dunedin, 1-0. In six innings, Glasnow fanned 11 while walking two and giving up four hits. Jhondaniel Medina pitched the next two innings and Yhonathan Barrios the 9th. Adam Frazier and Max Moroff each went 2-4, and Jose Osuna 2-3 with a double. Barrett Barnes didn't play.
-- Jamestown lost to Auburn, 5-3. Starter Marek Minarik gave up four runs in three and two-thirds innings. The Jammers had just six hits. Jordan Luplow struck out four times.
-- Bristol lost to Pulaski, 7-3, in ten innings. Pulaski's winning rally in the top of the 10th started with a solo HR and went on to include four walks, two hit batsmen, three steals, two wild pitches, a single and a pickoff. Bristol starter Omar Basulto gave up two runs, one earned, on five hits in four and a third innings. He walked none and fanned five. Candon Myles was 2-5 with a double.
-- The GCL Pirates scored two in the 9th to beat the Braves, 5-3, and end their losing streak at nine. Jake Burnette made another rehab start, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks in two innings. Luis Benitez was 3-5 and Bealyn Chourio, Henrry Rosario and Alexis Bastardo were all 2-4. Cole Tucker went 1-4.
-- The DSL Pirates got one-hit but still beat the Phillies, 1-0. Four Pirates pitchers went either two or three innings apiece. The only run scored on an error, a sacrifice a wild pitch and a sac fly.
