Pirates trade rumors: Bucs looking for lefty reliever

Peter Llewellyn-USA TODAY Sports

The Pirates are looking for a lefty reliever, Jon Morosi tweets. That they're looking for a reliever, of course, makes sense. That it needs to be a lefty is a little surprising, since they have two. They do, however use Tony Watson as more of a standard setup man, and Justin Wilson hasn't been markedly better against lefties in his career (although he has done a better job limiting walks against them).

Here's a look at the lefty relief market. Andrew Miller, to whom the Pirates have already been connected, is the best guy available, and Antonio Bastardo and Oliver Perez, whose names have also come up, are out there too. Guys like Neal Cotts, Wesley Wright, Tony Sipp, Brian Duensing and Mike Dunn could also be available.
