On Friday, I had a 25 minute conversation with Neal Huntington on my show on 970 ESPN. We covered a lot of ground including the injuries to Andrew McCutchen and Gerrit Cole (I think Neal is mistaken on his take about what Gerrit Cole meant when he used the term "brutal"), beanballs in Arizona and the organizational philosophy of pitching inside, why the Bucs didn't get a team option on the Edinson Volquez contract, what the Pirates saw in Vance Worley in March, the possibility of re-signing Russ Martin, Francisco Liriano and #ExtendEd, how much money the Pirates received from MLB under the new television deal (I'm guessing you know how that went) and Pedro Alvarez changing positions, among other things.
