Rob Biertempfel earlier tonight:
Since start of 2004 season, 44 different guys have played at least one game at first base for #Pirates

I double-checked, and I could only find 43 guys who played first since then. (Bonus points if you can figure out who the 44th was, if in fact there were 44 and not 43.) But whatever. A lot of people have played first base for the Pirates in the past 12 years. See how many of them you can name, keeping in mind that there are any number of catchers, middle infielders and third basemen in the mix with all the guys you remember as first basemen. (The dates listed indicate when each player was a Pirate, regardless of which years he actually appeared at first base.) This quiz is tough -- any total above 25 is impressive. You can type last names only.
