Yesterday, the Pirates defeated the Rays 4-3. Andrew Lambo doubled twice, and Tony Sanchez went 2-for-2 with a double. Francisco Liriano pitched three scoreless innings and struck out four (and actually went 1-for-1 at the plate!), and he was followed by Tony Watson and Jared Hughes, who each pitched perfect innings. Antonio Bastardo gave up a run in the sixth, and Rob Scahill gave up two in the seventh.
