Pirates plan pitching schedule for first few days of Spring Training games

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Pirates have their Black & Gold scrimmage today at noon, and then will begin their regular Spring Training schedule in Dunedin against the Blue Jays. Here's who you can expect to pitch.

On Tuesday, Casey Sadler will pitch two innings, and then the Pirates will send Stolmy Pimentel, Bobby LaFromboise, Rob Scahill, Brad Lincoln, Arquimedes Caminero and Josh Wall.

On Wednesday, the Pirates will open their home slate, also against the Blue Jays, and here's where many pitchers from the Pirates' likely Opening Day staff will debut. Gerrit Cole will start and pitch two innings, followed by two from Vance Worley. After that will be Radhames Liz, Tony Watson, Jared Hughes, Antonio Bastardo and John Holdzkom.

On Thursday, Francisco Liriano will start and pitch two innings as the Pirates host the Yankees. Charlie Morton will then pitch two innings and will be followed by Clayton Richard, Mark Melancon, Jeremy Bleich, Deolis Guerra and Tyler Glasnow.

All three games will start at 1:05.
