Today's spring action will feature Esmil Rogers and the Yankees against Francisco Liriano at McKechnie. Feel free to treat this as the game thread.
-P- The Pirates lost to the Blue Jays 4-1 yesterday. The Bucs collected just four hits, one of them a double by Pedro Florimon. Gerrit Cole gave up one run in his two innings, and Vance Worley gave up two in his. Pirates pitchers did, however, strike out 11 batters while walking just two. John Holdzkom struck out two of the three batters he faced.
-P- Josh Harrison left yesterday's game with an ankle injury, but it sounds like he'll be fine.
-P- The Cubs will sign Phil Coke to a minor-league deal. Coke reportedly turned down a big-league deal from another team, which is interesting -- it appears the Cubs have come back around to being a desirable destination for free agents.
-P- This NSFW article about the Cardinals made me laugh.
