Matt Morris Report: Indy searches for offense

-- Indianapolis remains scoreless on the season after a 3-0 loss to Columbus.  Adrian Sampson gave up all the runs in five innings on seven hits and three walks.  He fanned four.  John Holdzkom threw a scoreless 9th, allowing a hit and a walk and throwing only ten of twenty pitches for strikes.  The Indians managed just five singles.  Jose Tabata was 2-4, Alen Hanson 0-4, and Elias Diaz 1-3.

-- Altoona dropped an 11-inning game to Harrisburg, 3-2.  Jason Creasy gave up two unearned runs in five innings on three hits.  He walked one and struck out one.  Keon Broxton and Chris Stewart each went 2-4, Broxton with a double.  Willy Garcia, Stetson Allie and Eric Wood each struck out three times, and Allie was charged with two errors.  Josh Bell was 0-3 with two walks.  The Curve had two more runners thrown out stealing, leaving them 0-6 on the year.

-- Bradenton lost to St. Lucie, 6-1.  Starter Felipe Gonzalez gave up two runs in five innings.  Austin Meadows, Barrett Barnes and Reese McGuire each went 1-4.  JaCoby Jones was 1-3 with a double.

-- West Virginia beat Savannah, 3-1.  Alex McRae (pictured) allowed one run on just two hits and a walk in five innings.  He walked one and fanned three.  Montana DuRapau threw two perfect innings in relief, striking out three.  Yeudy Garcia finished with two scoreless innings, striking out three.  Pablo Reyes was 1-2 with a HR and two walks.  Jerrick Suiter was 1-2 with a triple and a walk, and Tito Polo! was 1-2 before being lifted for a pinch hitter.  Cole Tucker was 1-3.
