-Indianapolis lost 2-1 to Scranton. Indy managed seven hits, all singles, three of them by Jose Tabata. Casey Sadler allowed two runs over seven innings, striking out two and walking two.
-Altoona lost to Harrisburg, 7-4. Jason Creasy allowed three runs over five innings, although he struck out four, walked only two and went 2-for-2 at the plate. Stetson Allie hit his fourth home run of the season, a solo shot. Max Moroff had three singles and is now hitting .356. In addition to Allie and Creasy, Keon Broxton and Gift Ngoepe had two hits each.
-Bradenton beat Palm Beach, 5-3. Austin Meadows went 3-for-5 with a double. Edwin Espinal and Wyatt Mathisen went 2-for-4 at the bottom of the order, and Barrett Barnes went 2-for-5. Steven Brault allowed three runs in 5.2 innings, striking out two and walking three.
-West Virginia hosted Charleston (South Carolina) and lost 7-5, an outcome that must have Charleston WV residents not knowing how to feel. Alex McRae allowed three unearned runs in four innings, and Jake Burnette gave up four runs over 3.1 frames. Despite scoring five runs, the Power managed only four hits, most of them coming in a four-run fourth inning. Taylor Gushue and Jeff Roy both doubled, and Michael Suchy went 1-for-2 with two walks.
