Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

-Indianapolis lost 6-1 to Pawtucket. Adam Miller and Brad Lincoln got tagged with three runs apiece, although Brent Morel pitched a scoreless inning for some reason, though he walked a batter and hit another. Alen Hanson went 2-for-4 with a triple, and Elias Diaz went 1-for-3 with a triple.

-Altoona beat Bowie, 7-4. Chad Kuhl allowed four runs over six innings, but John Kuchno pitched two scoreless innings of relief for the win. Willy Garcia and Jacob Stallings each had three singles, and Josh Bell went 2-for-3 with a walk. Stetson Allie hit a bases-clearing double in the sixth.

-Both Bradenton and Brevard County scored five runs in the first inning, but Bradenton ultimately prevailed 7-6. JaCoby Jones went 3-for-5, and Austin Meadows, Erich Weiss, Jose Osuna and Wyatt Mathisen all had two hits. Osuna's three-run double was the key to the Marauders' half of the first inning. Felipe Gonzalez relieved Cody Dickson in the first and pitched 4.1 scoreless innings for the victory.

-West Virginia beat Charleston, 5-1 in a rain-delayed game. The mysterious Connor Joe, a 2014 supplemental pick whose debut has been delayed since last summer due to injury, played his first pro game and went 1-for-4 with a walk. Austin Coley allowed one run over six innings, striking out six, walking one and lowering his ERA to 2.25. Cole Tucker had three hits, Taylor Gushue went 2-for-2 with a walk, and Elvis Escobar homered.
