-- Jayson Aquino, recently picked up from Toronto, threw seven shutout innings in his first outing for the Pirates.  He gave up just three hits and a walk, and struck out four.  Unfortunately, the bullpen coughed up five runs in the 8th and 9th innings as Bradenton lost to Palm Beach, 5-4.  Jose Osuna was 3-4 with two doubles, Reese McGuire 2-5 and Wyatt Mathisen 2-4.  Austin Meadows was 1-4 with a triple and Barrett "I'm not dead yet!" Barnes 1-3 with a double.  JaCoby Jones hit his fourth HR.

-- West Virginia lost to Hagerstown, 5-2.  Starter Alex McRae lasted only three batters into the 3rd inning.  Jake Burnette replaced him and threw four and two-thirds hitless innings.  He walked one and gave up an unearned run, and struck out eight.  Cole Tucker was 3-4, and Elvis Escobar and Tito Polo each had two hits.  Connor Joe was 1-4.
