-- Josh Bell (pictured) hit his first AA HR, and first HR anywhere since June 12 of last year, to give Altoona a walkoff 5-3 win over Erie.  The longball followed two walks and a fly out.  Bell drove in all five of the Curve's runs, the others scoring on a ground out and a sacrifice fly.  Altoona had only five hits, with Max Moroff going 3-4.  Keon Broxton walked and scored three times.  Angel Sanchez had his first rough start of the year, walking six and throwing only 48 of 87 pitches for strikes over four and a third innings.  He gave up three runs, two earned.  Josh Smith came on with the bases loaded and one out and stranded all three runners.  He finished with three and a third scoreless innings.

-- Bradenton lost to St. Lucie, 6-3.  Starter Frank Duncan gave up five runs on 11 hits in four innings.  He walked two and struck out two.  Austin Meadows was 1-4 and Reese McGuire 0-4.  JaCoby Jones was 1-3.

-- West Virginia lost to Greensboro, 4-1.  John Sever allowed all the runs in the 4th inning.  He went four and two-thirds, giving up seven hits and a walk, and fanning five.  Cole Tucker went 3-5 with a double, and is now hitting .313.  Pablo Reyes was 1-4 with a double and Jordan Luplow was 0-4 with a walk and three strikeouts.
