Blake Wood got the last four outs for his 11th save. Alen Hanson had a double and his second HR in four at-bats, raising his average to .301. He drove in three runs. Jaff Decker and Gorkys Hernandez each had two hits, and Elias Diaz had a pinch-hit, RBI single.
-- Altoona lost to New Hampshire, 6-3. Chad Kuhl continued the return to earth of the Curve's starters, allowing six runs, five earned, on eight hits and three walks in six and two-thirds innings. He struck out two. Josh Bell and Willy Garcia each went 2-5, Dan Gamache 2-4 and Gift Ngoepe 2-3.
