Matt Morris Report: Zack Dodson gets scored upon

Indianapolis was off.

-- Zack Dodson's 0.00 ERA is no more.  After opening the season with 23 scoreless innings, Dodson allowed a run in the 6th and three more in the 7th in Altoona's 5-1 loss to Richmond.  The Flying Squirrels came into the game with a record of 3-17 and Altoona 15-6.  Dodson finished with four runs allowed, three earned, on five hits and no walks in seven innings.  He struck out four.  The Curve had only four hits, with Gift Ngoepe going 2-3 and Dodson driving in the only run with a single.  Josh Bell was 0-4.

-- Bradenton shut out Fort Myers, 3-0.  Jose Osuna hit his second HR, Reese McGuire was 2-4 and Edwin Espinal went 2-2 with two walks.  Barrett Barnes made a rare, on-field appearance and went 2-4 with a walk.  Austin Meadows was 0-4 with a walk.  Matt Benedict threw seven innings, allowing three hits and no walks, and fanning five.

-- West Virginia lost to Greensboro, 7-3.  Pablo Reyes (pictured) was 3-4 with his fourth HR.  Cole Tucker hit his first HR and finished 1-3 with a walk.  After pitching well his last time out, Dovydas Neverauskas allowed six runs in three innings.  Yeudy Garcia threw three scoreless innings in relief, allowing one hit and striking out four.
