Pirates sign 4th-rounder Jacob Taylor, 3 others

The Pirates have announced the signings of fourth-round draft pick Jacob Taylor, who will head to the GCL. They also announced that they've signed righty Chris Plitt (14th round, GCL), righty Nicholas Hibbing (16th, Morgantown) and first baseman Albert Baur (28th, Morgantown). Also, the Pirates officially announced the signing of third-round pick Casey Hughston, who will head to Morgantown.

Taylor had a commitment to LSU and surely required a significant bonus to sign. Fourth-round money is already pretty significant, though -- the allotted value of that pick is $439,400. Terms of Taylor's signing haven't yet been reported.

Here's the updated list of draft signings. The only Pirates pick in the first 16 rounds who hasn't yet agreed to terms is fifth-rounder Brandon Waddell.
