The Pirates have announced the signings of two more draft picks: 19th-rounder Ike Schlabach and 39th-rounder Tate Scioneaux. Schlabach, a tall high school lefty from Texas, will head to the Gulf Coast League; Scioneaux, a righty from Southeastern Louisiana University, will go to Morgantown. I'm guessing Schlabach got a somewhat significant bonus, since he took so long to sign and since he had a commitment to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
With the two signings, the Pirates have now signed 30 of their 41 picks, including 16 of their first 17 and 21 of their first 23. Other than fifth-rounder Brandon Waddell, who I'm sure will sign, the Bucs' class is mostly set.
