-- The West Virginia Black Bears lost to Vermont, 4-2.  Seth McGarry, newly promoted from the GCL, gave up just an unearned run over five innings.  He allowed only one hit and a walk, and he struck out four.  The Bears had only four hits.  Ulises Montilla was 2-2.  Kevin Newman went 1-4 with a double.  Casey Hughston was 0-3.

-- The GCL Pirates beat the Astros, 5-2.  Justin Sellers continued his rehab, going 2-3.  Ke'Bryan Hayes went 2-4 with a double.  Raul Siri was 1-4 with a double and Michael De La Cruz 0-4.  Gerardo Navarro came on to pitch in relief in the 2nd inning and allowed one run over five and two-thirds.  Cristian Mota threw two perfect innings for the save, striking out three.
