On Thursday I had a chance to talk to Neal Huntington on my show on 970 ESPN. I asked Neal about how his understanding of the game and how to manage an organization has changed during his tenure in Pittsburgh. We discussed the acquisition of Francisco Cervelli and how they went about identifying him as a potential trade target in a weak free agency market for catchers. We also talked about bullpen usage, trading prospects, and trading within the division, and I closed by asking him for an update on Jameson Taillon.
