Cannonballs Coming: Yeudy Garcia fans ten

-- Tyler Glasnow threw six scoreless, one-hit innings for Indianapolis against Louisville, but the Indians couldn't do any more against Robert Stephenson and lost, 2-1.  Glasnow walked two, struck out five and threw 56 of 88 pitches for strikes.  Bobby LaFromboise gave up a two-run HR.  Rob Scahill threw a scoreless inning.  Indy had seven hits and six walks, but went 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position.  Travis Snider went 1-3, Josh Bell 1-2 with two walks.  Corey Hart drove in the only run with a pinch single, then came out for a pinch runner.  Hart's only appearances since August 23 have been three pinch-hit at-bats, which probably indicates that he's still not healthy.

-- Altoona lost to Trenton, 6-4.  Jason Creasy continued to get hit hard, allowing nine hits and five runs, four earned, in three and a third innings.  Mel Rojas went 2-3 with a triple.  Max Moroff and Jose Osuna also had triples.  Andy Vasquez hit his second HR.

-- Bradenton's 9th inning comeback effort fell short in a 3-2 loss to Fort Myers.  The Marauders scored both of their runs in their final at-bat.  The game ended with Reese McGuire getting thrown out at the plate attempting to score on a fly ball.  Wyatt Mathisen went 2-3 with a double and Jordan Steranka 2-4.  Austin Meadows was 0-4, and McGuire and Harold Ramirez each 1-4.  Frank Duncan gave up three runs, only one earned, on nine hits in six innings.  He walked none and fanned six.

-- West Virginia wasted an outstanding start by Yeudy Garcia (pictured) and lost, 2-1, to Augusta.  Garcia allowed a run on six hits and a walk over five and two-thirds innings.  He fanned ten.  The Power had only two hits, including a double by Taylor Gushue.

-- Morgantown beat Mahoning Valley, 7-2.  J.T. Brubaker threw six shutout innings, allowing two hits and no walks, and striking out three.  Mitchell Tolman was 2-4 with a double and a triple and Casey Hughston 2-3.  Ke'Bryan Hayes was 2-3.

-- Bristol lost to Pulaski, 4-2.  Both Pirates' runs scored on HRs, Sandy Santos' 7th and Bealyn Chourio's second.  Logan Sendelbach threw five shutout innings, giving up just one run on two hits, two hits and three walks.

-- The GCL Pirates lost their 11th straight, 5-0, to the Phillies.  Adrian Valerio was 2-4.  Richard Mitchell struck out seven in two and two-thirds innings of relief.
