Cannonballs Coming: Indianapolis drops finale

Indianapolis couldn't manage another rally and dropped the fifth and deciding game of the International League championship series to Columbus, 3-0.  With Vance Worley in the majors and Radhames Liz in DFA purgatory, the Indians started Chris Volstad on short rest.  He gave up three runs over five innings.  A.J. Morris followed with three and a third scoreless innings in relief.  Indy managed little on offense, collecting just six singles.  Their big chance to get on the board came in the 3rd, when singles by Dan Gamache and Tony Sanchez, followed by a sacrifice, put runners on second and third with one out.  Alen Hanson struck out, though, and Gorkys Hernandez flied out to end the threat.  Gustavo Nunez had two hits.  Josh Bell was 0-3.
