Elvis Escobar went 2-5 with his fourth HR. Austin Coley gave up four runs in the first, but threw shutout ball for the rest of his six innings.

-- The GCL Pirates (7-10) scored five in the eighth to beat the Yankees East, 8-3. Nick Kingham made his second rehab start, going four innings and allowing a run on two hits. He walked none and struck out two. According to Pirates Prospects (sub. req'd), his velocity was 92-93, which was 2 mph higher than his first outing. Kingham was followed by the pro debut of the Pirates' 11th round draft pick, Max Kranick. He threw two scoreless innings, allowing a hit and a walk, and striking out one. On offense, Edison Lantigua went 3-4 with a double.
