-- Indianapolis (49-47) lost to Louisville, 6-4. Frank Duncan allowed three runs, two earned, in five innings. He gave up six hits and a walk, and struck out two. The Indians had only six hits. Francisco Cervelli continued his rehab, catching the entire game and going 0-2 with two walks.

-- Altoona (52-41) dropped a 3-2 decision to Harrisburg. Brandon Waddell recovered from a two-run first inning to have a solid start. He went six and two-thirds, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks. He struck out four and threw 61 of 95 pitches for strikes. Eric Wood and Barrett Barnes each had two hits.

-- Bradenton (50-42) beat Clearwater, 11-8. Stephen Tarpley had his second straight bad start, getting knocked out in the third inning after allowing six runs, five earned. Pablo Reyes went 2-5 with his third HR and Kevin Kramer 2-5 with a double.

-- West Virginia (48-45) got all of its runs on back-to-back, third-inning HRs to take the first game of a doubleheader from Hickory, 4-3. Carlos Munoz (pictured) hit his sixth HR with two on, followed by Logan Hill's fourth HR. Hill was 2-3. Starter Bret Helton allowed three runs on eight hits in six innings.

The Power lost game two, 6-5. Once again, all of their runs came on longballs. Munoz hit another three-run shot, his seventh HR, in the fourth. In the fifth, Hughston and Logan Ratledge hit back-to-back HRs for the second time in a few weeks. Hughston's HR was his seventh and Ratledge's his third. Yunior Montero made a spot start and allowed four runs, two earned, in four innings.

-- Morgantown (14-16) lost to Williamsport, 3-2. Will Craig went 2-4 and homered for the first time as a pro. Luis Escobar allowed three runs on four hits in four and two-thirds innings. He walked two and struck out two.
