-- Tyler Glasnow returned to Indianapolis and showed his good and bad qualities in the Indians' (49-48) 4-0 loss to Lehigh Valley. Glasnow allowed just two hits and fanned nine in six innings, but he walked three and allowed three runs. He threw 57 of 96 pitches for strikes. Indy had only four hits. Josh Bell, playing right field, went 1-3 with a double and a walk.

-- Bradenton (50-43) lost to Clearwater, 2-0, in ten innings. Austin Coley and Sam Street combined to throw nine shutout innings, but Luis Heredia gave up a pair of runs in the tenth. Heredia has struggled lately, with a 7.20 ERA in his last seven outings. The Marauders had only four hits.

-- Morgantown (14-17) lost to Williamsport, 7-4. Stephan Meyer's start lasted only one inning plus four batters; he faced 11 hitters and eight of them got hits, with six scoring. Stephen Alemais went 3-5. Will Craig was 1-3 with a double and a walk. Hunter Owen went 2-4 with his third HR.
-- Bristol (11-13) kept the day from being a system-wide wipeout by beating Danville, 8-4. Fifth round draft pick Blake Cederlind threw four shutout innings, allowing two hits and three walks, and striking out two. David Whitehead's miseries continued, as he allowed all of Danville's runs in his two innings. Mike Wallace threw three perfect innings, striking out two. Garrett Brown went only 1-5, but he had a double and three RBIs.

-- Max Kranick's second pro outing didn't go so well as the GCL Pirates (9-12) lost to the Blue Jays, 11-4. Kranick gave up just a run following an infield hit in his first two innings, but got knocked out with one out in the third. He was charged with four runs on five hits overall. He walked none and struck out two. Claudio Scotti, who signed last off-season out of Italy, made his pro debut with a scoreless inning, striking out one. Felix Vinicio went 3-5.
