Andrew McCutchen has been named the National League’s player of the week for the season’s final week. In five games during the week, Cutch batted .471 (8-for-17) with three doubles, two HRs and nine RBIs. The bulk of that production came last Tuesday against Baltimore, when Cutch went 4-4 with two HRs, including his first career grand slam, a double and eight RBIs. Cutch last won the award in August 2015. This was the seventh time he’s won it.
