Spring training thread: Cole takes on the Jays

The Pirates host Toronto at 1:05 PM. Gerrit Cole will start, with Jared Hughes, Antonio Bastardo, Tony Watson and Daniel Hudson slated to follow. The lineup:

7. Gift Ngoepe, 2B
8. Danny Ortiz, CF

For some inexplicable reason, Danny Ortiz is tied for fourth on the Pirates in spring at-bats, and Eury Perez and Joey Terdoslavich (who struggled in AA last year) for eighth. All have more than Austin Meadows. Presumably, those at-bats will shortly be going to Starling Marte and Gregory Polanco.
