The Pirates take on the Yankees at Himself Field at 1:05 PM, with Jameson Taillon on the mound. Tom Prince will manage the next two games, as Clint Hurdle is attending a funeral. Francisco Cervelli will be playing his last game for the Pirates before joining Team Italy in the WBC, which makes me pretty nervous. Today’s lineup is a Sunday special, but it’s still a lot more interesting than the broken down veterans we saw so much in the past:
- Max Moroff, SS
- Alen Hanson, 2B
- Francisco Cervelli, DH
- John Jaso, 1B
- Eric Wood, 3B
- Jose Osuna, RF
- Barrett Barnes, LF
- Jacob Stallings, C
- Danny Ortiz, CF
Following Taillon will be Nick Kingham, Clay Holmes, Antonio Bastardo, A.J. Schugel and Dan Runzler.
