Spring training thread: Pirates take on the Dominican Republic

The Pirates will face the Dominican WBC team at McKechnie Field at 1:05 PM. Gerrit Cole will take the mound and could be facing Starling Marte and Gregory Polanco. The lineup:

4. David Freese, 3B
5. John Jaso, RF
6. Eury Perez, LF
7. Danny Ortiz, CF
8. Jackson Williams, C
9. Gerrit Cole, P

Also scheduled to pitch are Tyler Glasnow, Angel Sanchez, Dan Runzler and Pat Light. Sanchez will be making his first game appearance since he was injured at the end of a promising 2015 season. He had Tommy John surgery and missed all of 2016, then re-upped with the Pirates on a minor league contract for 2017.
