— Indianapolis lost to Toledo, 6-5, in ten innings. Tyler Eppler had some control problems, throwing only 60 of 98 pitches for strikes in five innings. He allowed three runs, one of which scored after he was out, along with four hits and four walks. Eppler fanned six. Dovydas Neverauskas had a shaky outing, failing to hold a two-run lead as he also had trouble throwing strikes. He threw three innings — the first one resulted in the two runs -- with four hits and a walk allowed, and no strikeouts. Dan Runzler lost the game in the tenth due to . . . control problems. He walked anemic-hitting Brendan Ryan (batting .098) to load the bases and then hit Alex Presley. Max Moroff was 2-4 with a walk and his sixth HR.

He allowed five hits and a walk, and struck out three. Buddy Borden threw two perfect innings, fanning four. He has yet to allow an earned run, with a WHIP of 0.63 and 15 strikeouts in 14.1 IP.
