The Pirates have place backup catcher Chris Stewart on the ten-day disabled list:

Stewart was injured sliding into third on a two-run triple in Monday’s win over Arizona. He’s currently batting 225/295/350 and has thrown out four of 13 base stealers.
Elias Diaz will replace Stewart on the active roster. Diaz was up earlier and went 2-for-9 with a double and a pair of walks. At Indianapolis he’s batting 281/298/388. He’s thrown out 48% of the runners who’ve tried to steal on him.
