Bucs Dugout welcomes new writers

Bucs Dugout is pleased to announce the addition of three writers: Brian Cartwright, Kurt Hackimer and atpkinesin.

Brian I’m sure is familiar to everybody here as a frequent commenter. I’m sure most here also know he has a lot of background doing statistical analysis for various organizations around baseball and baseball-related media, such as FanGraphs. Brian will be doing game recaps and the odd news item, along with analytical pieces.

Kurt formerly served as a beat writer for the PIttsburgh Sports Report, occasionally writes for The Point of Pittsburgh and The Incline, and has a podcast called A Bloop and a Blast. He’ll be reporting from PNC Park for at least some home games, as well as providing other content.

Atpkinesin you should recognize from his statistically oriented comments. He’ll be contributing analytical pieces here and has a number of ideas we’re hoping to see over the course of the season.

So please extend a welcome to all three!
