Pirates place Jameson Taillon on 10-Day Disabled List

The Pirates announced that they have placed Jameson Taillon on the 10-day disabled list (retro 5/4) with "groin discomfort." Josh Lindblom has been selected from Indianapolis and is in the bullpen tonight. The team says the injury is unrelated to Taillon's hernia surgery of July, 2015.

The Pirates rotation for the upcoming series in Los Angeles is now as follows:

Monday: Trevor Williams
Tuesday: Ivan Nova
Wednesday: Chad Kuhl 

The Pirates are already without their top two defensive players and now they've lost, arguably, their best pitcher. Here's to hoping this nothing more than a short stint on the DL.
