Goodbye for now

Hey all, this is my last day as Bucs Dugout’s editor. There will probably be an announcement tomorrow about plans for the site going forward. For now, it suffices to say that I think SB Nation made an excellent decision, and the site will be in very capable hands. I’ll be available to help going forward, but I’m not planning on writing much, at least not right away.

Thank you to everyone who responded to my announcement back in March. I didn’t respond to the comments in that thread, but I read them with tears in my eyes. Bucs Dugout has been a huge part of my life for so long that even stepping back to the degree that I have so far this season has been strange. I still view this change as a positive one, though, and I’m excited to focus on other projects.

Thanks again to all of you for reading, and thanks especially to those who have reached out via the comments or email, or who have said hi at the ballpark or around Pittsburgh. I wish you all the very best.
