MLB Home Run Derby 2017: Open Thread

MLB: New York Yankees at Pittsburgh Pirates
Aaron Judge’s monster shot off Antonio Bastardo has been the coolest thing I’ve seen at PNC Park this year. Sorry.
Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The MLB Home Run Derby starts tonight sometime after the 8 p.m. airtime (ESPN).

Since folks around here like to talk about baseball, and this is the baseball we have, here’s a thread.

Here’s the derby bracket:

As far as the minors go, there are only two Pirates affiliates in action tonight, and just one of those, Bradenton, will be on MiLB.TV. Cam Vieaux starts for the Marauders, who host Tampa at 6:30 p.m. Bristol, which has no starter listed, also hosts a Yankees affiliate, Pulaski, at 7 p.m.

The West Virginia Power won and the GCL and DSL Pirates both lost earlier today. Wilbur will have more on those later.

Let’s have some fun:
