Pirates try to avoid further embarrassment in series finale

Well, the Pirates have returned to their set point of five games under .500 . . . which, contrary to what their GM believes, is a bad thing, not a good thing. Their anemic lineup will take on Sal Romano, whose mediocre 4.57 ERA is little over half that of the starters who dominated the Pirates in the first two games of the series.
