Game Thread: John Jaso, Chris Stewart fearlessly lead Pirates into September

Everyone’s sure to love this lineup.

No Jordan Luplow, no Elias Diaz, but John Jaso and Chris Stewart are going to get their at-bats, even as the Pirates cleared their roster of a pesky effective reliever, presumably to allow youngsters (who are still in Indianapolis) get innings.

Honestly, whatever. I’d much rather see some younger guys play, but it’s one game. There is indeed time to see them, still, lack of direction notwithstanding. If anything, I’m just hanging out, watching meaningless baseball and enjoying some Angry Wilbur.
