Game Thread: Gerrit Cole takes on Stephen Strasburg

With all the Andrew McCutchen love this week, I’d be remiss if I didn’t at least mention it’s conceivable this could be Gerrit Cole’s final start with the Pirates, though I don’t think that’s likely.

Cole faces Stephen Strasburg, the first of two Nationals aces who will face the Pirates this weekend, with Max Scherzer going Saturday.
