The Pirates have activated utility man Adam Frazier and outfielder Gregory Polanco from the ten-day disabled list.
Gregory Polanco and Adam Frazier have both been reinstated from the DL and will be active for the game tonight in St. Louis.
— Pirates (@Pirates) September 8, 2017
Frazier has been on the DL since August 28 with a right hamstring strain, Polanco since August 15 with his 278th (estimated) left hamstring strain.
According to Clint Hurdle (sub. req’d), Frazier and Polanco won’t be playing every day, which will allow Max Moroff and Jordan Luplow to continue seeing time on the field. Of course, the Pirates could also create time, especially for Moroff, by not playing David Freese and Sean Rodriguez as much.
