Spring training thread: Steven Brault starts against Atlanta

The Pirates face the Braves on the road at 1:05pm, with Steven Brault starting. No information on the scheduled relievers, although one of them won’t be A.J. Schugel. He’s been shut down with right shoulder discomfort. Schugel missed the last month of the 2016 season with a sore shoulder. He then had a terrible spring in 2017 and got off to a very bad start in AAA, suggesting that the shoulder was still a problem. The injury now could put him at a serious disadvantage in competing for a roster spot.
