Game Thread: Pirates eye sweep as Kingham makes debut

Nick Kingham will make his MLB debut against Luke Weaver and the Cardinals this afternoon while the Pirates look to break out the brooms.

Weaver has struggled in his last two starts while not being able to get through 5 IP. His 2018 line through five starts is 2-1, 4.85 ERA, 24 SO, in 26 IP.

Kingham has shoved so far in AAA, going 2-1, 1.59 ERA, 27 SO, in 22.2 IP.
