Game Thread: Pirates kick off series vs Cubs

The Pirates are set to open up a series against the division rival, Chicago Cubs. The Bucs will send Chad Kuhl to the mound who will look to build on his strong start last week. Mike Montgomery will be making his first start of the year for the Cubs. Working in relief, Montgomery has delivered a 5.33 ERA over 25.1 innings so far in 2018.

Gregory Polanco will take the day off as Austin Meadows makes his first start in right field.
