--Altoona(23-24) lost 3-0 to Akron as Pedro Vasquez pitched 7 strong innings but received no run support as the Curve bats were unable to get anything going this evening only collecting 3 singles. Vasquez had his best start at the Double A level only allowing one run through 7 while recording 5 Ks to go along with 3 walks. Altoona’s best chance to score came in the 4th inning as Jason Martin and Will Craig had back to back hits with Craig at 2b and Martin at 3rd with one out.
