--Indianapolis(47-39) defeated Columbus 7-0. Casey Sadler pitched six scoreless innings while recording five strikeouts. Sadler lowered his ERA to 3.47 on the year. Sadler has pitched well recently in spot starts and out out of the bullpen. Indy jumped out to a 2-0 lead when the Clipper’s Mitch Talbot could not cleanly field a Jason Martin comebacker to the mound with the bases loaded allowing two runs to score. The future, Sean Rodriguez homered in the fifth to increase Indy’s lead to 3-0. Indy would eventually stretch its lead to 7-0 on a Eric Wood two run double. Jesus Liranzo pitched three scoreless innings in relief to earn his second save.

Bolton has thrown 34 innings with the Power and has a WHIP of 1.08. The West Virginia bats were largely silent this evening as they only recorded two hits. Osvaldo Bido: 5 IP, 8 Ks, 3 hits

--Bristol(9-8) defeated Princeton 15-9. Shane Baz was on the mound for Bristol and had a strong start before running into some trouble in the sixth inning. Baz’s final line will show him allowing four runs over five innings but two of those runs came in the sixth inning when he seemed to run out of gas and had a hard time locating the plate. Baz sounded dominant for much of the game and had recorded nine Ks through five innings while throwing over 70% strikes. Bristol had 18 hits and perhaps the biggest surprise was none of them came from Jonah Davis.
