Game thread: Pirates try to get back on track at Coors

The Pirates will try to re-ignite their playoff chase while visiting the Colorado Rockies, who’ve mostly been busy lately helping the Cards and Brewers stay in the hunt. Joe Musgrove will take on yet another lefty opponent, Kyle Freeland. Freeland’s 3.20 ERA seems to depend a lot on a somewhat better-than-normal BABIP and strand rate, as his xFIP is 4.38. Game time is 8:40pm ET.
